Services

Two practices, one workflow

Software answers whether it can run. IP work answers whether you can claim what was built. You can hire either practice, or put both on the same project.

01

Software development

For small teams and business units that need running software instead of scattered sheets, chats, and oral rules.

Custom systems and web apps

Admin consoles, corporate sites, internal tools, and customer-facing apps, designed around real paths rather than generic modules.

Integration and data flow

Connect existing software, spreadsheets, and third-party APIs so data is entered once and it is clear which source wins.

Consulting and architecture

Before coding: constraints, choices, split of parts, security boundaries, release and backup. Useful when a system already exists, or when a new one has no first line yet.

Handoff and upkeep

Defects, small iterations, environments, and documentation. After delivery, someone still has to be able to explain how it runs.

02

Intellectual-property related services

We help turn the R&D trail into files that can be submitted, and we assist through software-copyright, patent, and trademark processes. Agency qualifications and official fees follow the rules in force at the time.

Software copyright registration support

Prepare version notes, identifying materials, and ownership facts so a written program becomes a registrable work.

Patent process collaboration

Help extract the technical point, use, and difference for later drafting. This fits a path you can already demonstrate, not a slogan.

Trademark assistance

Around the name, mark, and actual use, we help with search discussions and application materials. The ThatPond brand is managed with the same discipline.

Ownership records during development

Keep commit history, author information, and version snapshots while the work is happening, so staff changes do not erase proof of who built it.

What to send us

  • The problem, the current workaround, and the constraints that cannot move (time, budget, compliance, existing systems).
  • Who accepts the work, where it will run, and whether sample data can be shared.
  • If IP is in scope: existing code or design, completion dates, authors, and any commissioning relationship.

Send the project

One email with context is enough. We will say whether it fits, and what we need next.
